| Name of Scholarship: Alperin Hirsch Scholarship |
| Purpose: To Shea High School for the Alperin Hirsch Scholarship for a needy graduating senior attending an accredited post-secondary degree program. |

| Name of Scholarship: Patty & Melvin Alperin First Generation Scholarship |
| Purpose: To benefit college-bound Rhode Island high school seniors whose parents did not have the benefit of graduating from college. Eligible candidates will demonstrate academic excellence, good character, and will be Rhode Island residents planning to attend an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution that offers either a two-year associate or a four-year college degree. |
| Deadline: May 8, 2008 |
| Award: Two or three scholarships of $1,000 will be given annually with awards renewable up to four years if the student maintains good academic standing. |
| Selection Critera/More Information: In order to qualify as an applicant, you must meet the following criteria: A Rhode Island resident and a high school senior. The son or daughter of parents who did not graduate from a college or university. Accepted into an accredited post-secondary institution. Able to demonstrate financial need. |

| Name of Scholarship: Edward R. Anderson CLU Scholarship |
| Purpose: To the University of Rhode Island for junior and senior in-state students in the College of Business Administration who are preparing for a career in the insurance/financial services field. |

| Name of Scholarship: Ronald D. Araujo Memorial Scholarship |
| Purpose: To Tolman High School to assist graduating student athletes with proven financial need who wish to pursue a higher level of education at an accredited college or university and to Johnson & Wales University to assist a Rhode Island resident student athlete with proven financial need who is a matriculating student at the university.
